Route 2050 Coffee House at Namsap Villa Resort is the best coffee house Khemmarat has to offer.
About Namsap Villa Resort
Established in 2010 (2553), Namsap Villa Resort officially opened its doors in 2012 (2555) with just a few bungalows. Today, we proudly offer eight modern and stylish bungalows, each equipped with air conditioning, hot and cold water, and flushing toilets.
In 2013, we introduced the Route 2050 Coffee House, located at the front of the resort property. It quickly became known for serving the best custom coffee in Khemmarat.
Around the same time, we also opened the Namsap Steak House, the only steakhouse in town. Here, you can enjoy the finest tender steaks cooked to your order and complemented by ice-cold beers.
Conveniently located on the main highway 2050, also known as Trakarn-Ubon Road, our resort is less than a ten-minute drive from downtown Khemmarat. The road to Ubon via Trakarn district takes about an hour, which is roughly half the time compared to the alternative route through Amnartcharoen district.
The name “Namsap” (น้ำแซบ) is derived from the Esan language, where “Nam” means water and “Sap” means delicious. While it literally translates to “delicious water,” “Sweet Water” is a more fitting translation.
The inspiration behind our name comes from a natural spring located at the back of our property. This spring provides fresh, clear groundwater throughout the year. Decades ago, it was a vital source of drinking water for the local villages before they switched to city-supplied tap water.
To this day, the spring continues to produce clean and clear water, just as it has for possibly thousands of years. The water from the spring now fills our fish ponds, where beautiful lotus flowers grow. It is only fitting that our resort is named after this naturally occurring sweet water spring, Namsap.
